Exploring the local architecture in the Guajira Desert, this shelter studio endeavors to reinterpret and admire the construction culture and the north coast landscape of the Guajira region. Inside the refuge, protection from severe weather conditions coexists with a peaceful view of the Caribbean Sea. Strategically placed and integrated with the surrounded elements, the shelter is not only designed reusing local materials but also poising it between water and earth.
