The HMS Beowulf is a Cobra-Class Heavy Assault Corvette(commonly knowed as Orbital Combat Ship, or OCS), these sturdy but versatil Gunships are the mainstay Asault ship of the Phoenix Legion. Often used to attack enemy capital ships directly in conjunction with Raptor-class Destroyers, Katana-class Space Superiority Fighter and ASF-66 H-Wing Heavy Starfighters. They can be deployed from different classes of Space Carrier Vessels. and Superdestroyers. Now that the Empire abandoned the Eufrates Sector, a battery of 12 Cobra-class Gunships support the HMS Gilgamesh against the Zidrii Invasion (Other Cobra-Class OCSs of the Imperial Navy, HMS Alexander, HMS Theseus, HMS Yamatotakeru, HMS Prometeus, HMS Völund, HMS Sigurd, HMS Odysseus, HMS Einherjar, HMS Atreus, HMS Actaeon, HMS Atalanta, HMS Wallace, HMS Leonidas, HMS Yue Fei, HMS Attila, HMS Yoshitsune, HMS Khalid Ibn Al-Walid, HMS Gengis Khan, HMS Patton, HMS Julius Ceasar, HMS Rommel, HMS Arcturus, HMS Bonaparte).
