Geodesic domes, having their triangular faces further sub-divided into tetrahedral "triplets" • Spaceship Earth, at Disney World (Epcot) in Orlando, Florida, is an example of a "diamond dome" • The most-popular geodesic subdivisions are provided • Frequency: 3v, 4v & 5v • Icosahedron tessellation: Class I • Insphere vertex distribution method: Electrostatic-charge repulsion • Each tetrahedral-triplet "face" approximates one-fourth of an equilateral tetrahedron (by volume) • Each dome is a separate component • The insphere radius of each dome is 1 foot (unity) • Use the SketchUp 'Scale' tool, or the 'Measuring tape,' to enlarge the dome in your architectural model
