Rubik's Cube with Orientation-free cubies - The color scheme makes the cubies orientation free; that is, each cubie has to reach its position but it never needs to be oriented. This may be considered the contrary of the super-cube where all the cubies, including the centers, need to be oriented. In this respect, this cube may be called the sub-cube (as opposed to super-cube). [If you use fridrich method, the oll step is useless 'cause there's nothing to orient. It may be interesting to play with such a cube, cross and f2l also get simplified. I came up with this cube while actually working on oll's and trying to memorize them all.] With this color scheme you may think that the cube has actually 2 solutions, and it does if you are allowed to disassemble it. But when correctly assembled it only has 1 solution (as suggested by the the logo in the yellow face); the other solution is not reachable.
