The New York Times Tower is a commercial office skyscrapper located on the west side of Midtown Manhattan, USA. The building construction was started in 2004 and completed in 2007. It was designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop and FXFOWLE Architects and the glass supplier was Viracon Inc. The tower has a steel trussed frame structure with an aluminium curtain wall for the facade. The building rises to 227.4 m (roof height) for a total of 52 floors (floor to floor height : 4.2 m) with 32 elevators. The all architecture (the tower with the spire) rises to 318.8 m. The tower costs was US$ 850,000,000.
