Capacity: 23,500. Home to Surrey County Cricket Club and also home to England during any test series. The Oval is one of seven first class (test) cricket stadiums in the whole of England and Wales. The oval is also the second ever ground to hold a test (coming second to the Melbourne Cricket Ground). Many people would see The Oval as just a cricket ground, but it held the first ever FA Cup Final match and also holds a record as the venue of the very first International football match, played between England and Scotland, ending in a 1-1 draw. The ground is known as the Oval because of its original shape, before the OCS Stand (stand with arc roof) was built. The ground is also featured in the Ashes test series, being the venue that England won in 2009. The Oval is now sponsored by Korean car manufacturers Kia. Enjoy! Sam Johnson
