"I'll Meet You Under the Kern Clock" was a common Detroit expression for almost a century. The Kern Clock was originally located on Kern's Department Store at the corner of Gratiot and Woodward. In recognition of the importance of this historic Detroit landmark, Compuware Corporation has restored the clock to the proximity of its original location
