Designed by Rahul Boggaram
From: Bangalore, India
Shelter location: India
Date Accepted: August 26, 2009
The shelter was designed to amalgamate itself to endow with its user’s customary functions. Retractable front louvers are provided to let maximum inflow of air. The glass façade enables the user to maximize the outstanding view of scenic Cheerapunji. The slightly sloped roof leaves no liberty for rainfall water to ruin the view. The shelter challenges the terrain of Cheerapunji with its high rain fall and cold climate.
