This attraction is located directly infront of the US Post Office and Courthouse in Downtown Texarkana. The courthouse provides the perfect backdrop as this location marker highlights where the statelines of Arkansas and Texas meet. Tourists can choose to stand on either side or straddle both sides at once being perfectly centered down the middle! The island is ideal for amateur or professional photographers alike and is one of the reasons Texarkanians boast their courthouse as being the most photographed government building in the country second only to the US Capitol Building!
