Micheldever is a minor station on the South West main line between Basingstoke and Andover in Hampshire. It was originally called 'Andover Road' as the actual village of Micheldever is some distance away. However there soon grew up a new settlement, called Micheldever Station, around the new railway line. The station is today served by aproximately 1 train per hour in each direction off-peak, all operated by South West Trains. It sees around a million passengers per year. A short distance to the north is a tunnel and an oil storage depot, which sees occasional use. A classic K2 red phone box is still in situ on the station frontage.
