- Tallest building in Indiana from 1962-1970, when One Indiana Square was completed.
- This was the first building in Indianapolis to rise higher than the Soldiers & Sailors Monument.
- An indoor observation deck is located on the 28th floor. It is reached by freight elevator to the 26th floor and then by a separate elevator to the 28th floor.
- Ground was broken on February 1, 1960; the cornerstone was laid on December 21, 1960, and first occupancy occurred on January 2, 1962.
