A Modern Naval Missile Destroyer based off of the INCAT Catamaran hull design. Think of it as a better armored and armed HSV-1. Able to cruise at 45 knots, power is from 2ea Gas Turbines and thrust is provided from a multi-directional water jet system. Crewed by 125 persons. Has some Stealthy features built in, but is not a “Stealth” ship. The Helicopter Pad can retract inwards, which allows better stability. Note that this ship does not include a hanger for Helicopters, but it does include refueling, Rearming facilities for them.
Detection includes Networkable radar, Stereoscopic sonar (one in each pontoon) and a Towed Sonar Array
Armament consist of:
1ea 125mm Rail Gun; 2ea Phalanx CIWS; 8ea Deck Mounted Torpedo Tubes, 2ea Reinforced Deck Mounted SLAM Launchers; 1ea Dual Rail Anti-Aircraft Missile Launcher. Primary offensive armament is 64ea Vertical Launch Tubes, which can contain any variety of missiles, including Standoff Cruise, Anti-Submarine, Anti-Ship, Anti-Aircraft, etc…
Credit to: “mikeg” for the Phalanx and “HustlerJohn” for the SLAM Launcher, VLS tubes, and the Doors.
