The Dragon House (Gr. Drachenhaus) in Sanssouci Park was built by architect Carl von Gontard ibetween 1770 and 1772 in the then popular Chinoiserie style (a mix of Baroque/Rococo architecture and oriental elements), by order of King Frederick II of Prussia.
