The concept of this house is based on elliptic volumes and two flowing decks. The raised “living” deck provides on one hand full view of the surroundings with the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz and on the other hand the possibility to have privacy. The second (roof) deck provides protection from the sun. The elliptic volumes contain rooms and functions that are arranged in a logic way with on the east side entrance, kitchen and a smaller bedroom and on the Westside two bedrooms, with master bedroom, and a terrace for evening dinners. The space in between, and formed by, the ellipses, create an almost landscaped hallway with views in all directions that leads to the living room.
