The B.J. Haan Auditorium is used for chapel services, concerts, organ recitals, and other events. It seats approximately 1,500 people. The auditorium showcases one of the finest pipe organs in the Midwest, a three-manual tracker-action organ featuring 37 stops, 57 ranks, and 2,865 pipes which range in speaking length from one inch to 16 feet. The Auditorium is also equipped with two concert grand pianos, a Steinway and a Kawai.The B.J. Haan Auditorium and adjoining music building were completed in 1979. The auditorium was named in honor of the first president of the college, who served in that capacity from its beginning in 1955 until 1982. Google Earth Ready. (V 1.0)
