Everyone knows the story of the World Trade Center. Two buildings which made a huge impact on the World. As it went, For 28 years the two towers stood proud over the New York Skyline. They rose to fame and became one of the world's most reconizable skyscrapers. The towers had a short but amazing life. 1974, French high wire acrobatic performer Philippe Petit walked between the towers on a tightrope. 1975 the North tower survied a fire. 1977, Brooklyn toymaker George Willig scaled the south tower. 1993, the complex survives a terrorist bomb. Towers reached their peak, appearing in countless TV Shows, Movies, Books, and Merchandise, the Skyline of New York, probably never looked better. It was these towers that inspired me to get into Architecture, even if I was only 4 or 5, the Twin's instantly became an insperation. Ever since 9/11 it seems life in the World just isnt same anymore, things only seem to be getting worse and worse. The Twin's will not be returning, but we can always look back and remember.
