***Updated version with textures and terrain***. Rutgers Stadium is the venue for the football program at Rutgers University. Located on the university's Busch Campus, Rutgers Stadium was opened on 3 September 1994 during a game between the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the Kent State University Golden Flashes. Rutgers Stadium seats 41,500 spectators, though on a few occasions has accommodated several thousand more. Though small in this regard compared to other big name Division I-A college football stadiums, Rutgers Stadium and its home crowd is known to be disproportionately and at times deafeningly loud, making it uniquely intimidating to its visiting opponents.
