It will be built near it’s other giant friends; the Jin Mao tower, and World Finance center. The Shanghai tower is a multipurpose building that rises 632 m (2,073) ft. The building is a basic cylindrical structure with 8 sectors spiraling with it’s outer glass shell. It will be China’s tallest tower with the highest open air observation dack. Each partially rotated sector will have parks grass, trees, and walking space. Along one of it’s corner angles of the facade, is cut open to increase airflow to the wind turbines, and bring fresh air to occupants in the parks. Estimated completion should be around 2014.
