Das Reimlinger Tor (14. Jh.) ist im Unterbau das älteste Stadttor Nördlingens. Erst später kamen die Aufbauten mit der wulstig vorragenden Geschützplattform und der Turmwächterstube hinzu, ebenso das wehrhafte Vorwerk.
