This is a working model based on Matthias Wandel's Binary Marble Adding Machine found his Woodgears.ca site. This is not a duplicate of his machine, even though Wandel kindly provides measured plans at his site. The behavior of Sketchyphysics solids made it necessary to re-work the design. Mr. Wandel has agreed to let me refer to his website in this description. Note: The "marbles" in vertical rows are frozen. When the Sketchyphysics simulation begins, click on the desired marbles to let them fall into the machine. This machine was made using SketchUp 7 and Sketchyphysics 3.
