University Stadium is an outdoor football stadium on the south campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Today, the New Mexico Lobos of the Mountain West Conference call the stadium home. Upon opening in September 1960, the 38,634-patron capacity stadium featured a natural grass playing field, spanning the traditional north-south configuration and sitting at an elevation of 5,100 feet above sea level.
