Hull College is the largest provider of construction studies in the region and is amongst the largest in the UK, training over 1,300 learners every year. The College's School of Construction offers a wide range of craft skills from Carpentry and Joinery to Bricklaying and Plastering, complemented by a full range of technical and professional studies up to HE level. This is an award winning school, holding two National Training awards, two Beacon awards and Centre of Vocational Excellence status for Construction Technologies. Developments within the School of Construction include the Construction Centre of Excellence. This stunning new building, which opened in September 2007, offers professional construction programmes and business facilities including room hire and sponsorship opportunities.
