(c) Generalfeldmarschall - Built by Prussian architect Waesemann between 1861 and 1869 in a Italian Renaissance style and based in the Rathaus Thorn, the Rotes Rathaus is located on Rathausstraße (former Königsstraße) in the Mitte district of Berlin, Germany. It served as the town hall for East Berlin between 1948 and 1991; after that it have served as the city hall for reunified Berlin.
