This wall vignette from KraftMaid's 2010 Universal Design Kitchen features a cleanup area incorporating knee space below the sink and a raised built-in dishwasher. All base cabinets have a raised toe kick to provide easier access to bottom doors and drawers as well as space for wheelchairs to move close to countertops. The Passport Series from KraftMaid Cabinetry won a Platinum Award in the Professional Division of the New Products for Mature Markets Design Competition and meets cabinetmaking specifications recommended by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
