The Georgia Dome is owned by the State of Georgia and operated by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority. The 290 foot building was completed in 1992 and is the largest cable supported domed stadium in the world. The building cost $214 million and has a seating capacity of 71,250. The dome is used annually for NFL's Atlanta Falcons, Southeastern Conference Football Championship Game and The chick-fill-a Bowl.
