The Cathedral of Saint Paul, of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. Designated by the Vatican as the National Shrine of the Apostle Paul in 2009. It was designed by architect Emmanuel Louis Masqueray and opened in 1915. Two hundred thousand people visit the Cathedral of Saint Paul each year.
