House in Brooklyn Heights where Arthur Miller lived, then W. E. B. Dubois (not at same time). House is very close to the Brooklyn Promenade, which offers wonderful views of the Manhattan skyline, East River and the Statue of Liberty. Arthur Miller wrote "Death of a Salesman" here. In 1955 he sold the property to W. E. B. DuBois. at the time DuBois said " WE couldn't have rented here, we had to buy. When we first came, the FBI swarmed around the neighborhood asking questions." DuBois stayed until 1961.
