Capacity: 90,000. The stadium, opened in 2007, was built on the site of the previous 1923 Wembley Stadium. It is the home venue of the England national football team and is owned by The Football Association. The stadium also hosts FA Cup, League Cup, FA Community Shield and Football League play-off finals as well as other major sporting events. The iconic arch is the longest single span roof structure in the world and makes Wembley the only stadium in the world that requires beacons for low flying aircraft.
