The Crédit Lyonnais Tower is a skyscraper located in the quartier de la Part-Dieu in Lyon,France. 165 metters high, it is the highest french building not located in Île-de-France. It was the fourth hightest by the time of its acheivement ( and actually the sixth). The Crédit Lyonnais Tower has a cylindric shape. Its highest floor is overmounted by 23 metters hight pyramid that made Lyon's inhabitants nickname it «the crayon (the pencil) ». Les 10 derniers étages du bâtiment sont occupés par un hôtel ; les autres étages sont des bureaux. Selon les souhaits de l'architecte, le sommet de cette tour se situe sensiblement à la même hauteur que la basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière.
