Hatch[BOX], a workspace for reflection and productive retreat, guided by the Primitive Hut and Thoreau's writing shelter. An updated version of these structures, Hatch[BOX] allows one to escape from distractions/impediments to creative work. It’s easily transported to any location, requiring no site preparation. Interior/exterior skins are attached to its rigid fr ame system. Its transformative design provides a closed space, and also quickly converts into a space open to the outdoors.
