Die EXPO Plaza ist das representative Zentrum der EXPO 2000 in Hannover. Sie ist Event-Location für verschiedene Großveranstaltungen (Plaza-Festival, IdeenExpo, Open-Airs), Campus der FH für Theater, Kunst und Medien, kreatives Umfeld für Startup-Unternehmen, und Gastro- und Entertainment-Location. Der benachbarte Deutsche Pavillion beeindruckt mit einer innovativen ultraleichten Glas-und-Stahl-Architektur auf einer Gesamtfläche von 14.000 m². Der zukunftsweisende Entwurf stammt von der Friedrichshafener Architekturbüro Josef Wund. -- The EXPO-Plaza is the heart of the World Expo 2000 at Hannover. Today the Plaza features different types of activity: Major events like the anual Plaza-Festival, CampMedia for higher education, small offices for start-up companies, expo-gastronomy and entertainment. The nearby German Pavillon represents numerous new techniques on architectural design at a surface of 14.000 m².
