The Roy Lichtenstein House is located in the National Gallery of Art sculpture garden in Washington. It is an optical illusion and is based on designs by the late artist Roy Lichtenstein. For the best effect tilt the Google Earth view (click and hold mouse wheel and pull mouse towards you) until your eye level is at ground level then drag the view as though you are walking past the building. The building appears to rotate. For an even more confusing view download the model and open it in Sketchup. Do not zoom in. Simply rotate the model (click and hold mouse wheel and drag mouse sideways) or drag the model across the screen (Click and hold mouse wheel, press and hold shift, then drag mouse sideways.) The best way to see how the structure is really built is to look at it from directly above, then rotate it slowly one way or the other. You will see that it consists of two walls and half a roof only. Modelled by Peter Olsen, Brighton-le-Sands, Sydney, Australia
