Several period cannons are lined in the walkways around the North Wall. Several more cannons are on display throughout the Alamo compound and although not all of them were used in the Battle of the Alamo many are from the same time period. Several cannons only recently have been discovered to have actually been used in the battle and are cherished items in the Alamo collection.
