These buildings were built in the Art Deco period, which is qute obvious if you have an eye for detail. the corner entrance on the north side is decorated with curved windows, and the entire corner of the buildig constists of one rounded face. the stores and clubs now in the building, are 'the World Erotic Art Museum', which is on the south of the complex. the 'Mansion Nightclub', popular in Miami Beach nightlife, and ownes the pretty large theater in the back of the north building. the 'playwright Irish Pub & Restaurant', the Maiko sushi bar, the 'Smoothie shop', The Fourt P, are quite famous restaurants on washington avenue. behind the buildngs, on the south side, stands the Marlin Hotel & Bar, also a popular spot to hang out at night. the buildings were built in the same year as the Sterling Building on Lincoln road, and it's obvious, because they're both built entirely from natural stone
