In 1999 the municipal council approved the study Smižany housing on the current street P. Suržina, processed Ing. Arch. Ivan Supukom. Once approved for a grant for construction of residential building and civil engineering works ministry was launched in April 2001, actual implementation of the building. Dwellings have been completed and put into use in 2003.
