Marina City was designed by Architect Bertrand Goldberg. Located in Chicago, Illinois, it is said to be a “city within a city.” It was completed in 1964 to be 588 feet tall. Marina City is an early example of urban design as a mixed use high-rise building. The twin towers can easily be recognized by their unique corn cob shape. Model by Austin Metzger.
