Designed by Martin F. Herrera
From: Buenos Aires (Cap. Fed.), Argentina
Shelter location: Argentina
Date Accepted: August 28, 2009
Answering to the foundations of the "Organic Architecture," Fire in Ice shelter is born from the essence of his environment, Antartic Argentine Portion. The Ice is the only primary material; the shelter's unique structural element. The environment takes possession of the architecture and vice versa, in one symbiosis of spaces. This representation of the other point of view, the other side, Fire in Ice, the paradox of the design.
