Designed by Mario González
From: Monterrey, Mexico
Shelter location: Mexico
Date Accepted: August 26, 2009
According to one of the locals raw materials, reed panels [wooden fr ames] were chosen to create a balance with the environment, providing visibility from the inside and creating a working atmosphere simultaneously. A manual sliding door becomes an access ramp that fits with the uneven sites topography so the occupant can have easy access to the shelter. Also offering protection from the outside by closing it through a track system.
