This is the new Deaconess Gateway Hospital on the far east side of Evansville, Indiana. This greenfield hospital offers 226 beds in a state-of-the-art facility. The hospital opened in 2005 with one of three planned patient towers (the second patient tower was opened in 2010). HOK designed a modern facade using precast concrete and white metal panels. At night the hospital glows with red, white, and blue neon canopies that define the various entrance areas.
