A fully animated 3D recreation of the 1977 Tenerife Airport disaster in which two 747 aircraft collided on the ground in thick fog, killing 583 people. It remains the world's most deadly airline accident, apart from '9/11. After loading the model in Google Earth double-click where indicated on the left under Places. To speed up the animation click one or more times on the double arrows on the time slider.
