St. Jakob-Park, located in Basel, Switzerland, is the largest football/soccer stadium in Switzerland with a capacity of 42,500 and home to FC Basel. Completed in 2001, the stadium was expanded to its current capacity in 2005. The stadium houses a retirement home with over 100 units, a shopping center and a rail station.
