Leominster is a small market town in the Northern part of Herefordshire county in the West of England near the Welsh border. Drapers Lane is a pedestrian alley running from the Corn Square to the Buttercross that probably dates back a few hundred years. In places it is less than three metres wide.On Drapers Lane is the Pye Powder furniture and housewares shop. (I don't know what it means either. Maybe it's Welsh.) Built in the late 16th century, this jettied building with a double gable has been underbuilt on the ground floor, reducing the original width of the lane. (Special thanks to Mr. Duncan James, the real expert on the history of Leominster Buildings, for advice on building write-ups.)
