The Las Vegas Convention Center is one of the largest in the world. With already over 3.2 million square feet of space the convention center is about to expand for the 10th time in order to incorporate an additional 500,000 feet of space. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada just one block off the strip, the need for a convention center was realized in 1950, initially intended to bring in tourists and fill hotel rooms during sluggish tourist months.
