The One Prudential Plaza building is located in Downtown Chicago. It was completed in 1955 and its 41 floors rise 601 feet. The Architect was Neass & Murphy, they designed the building with vertical strips of limestone and ridged aluminum. The building was the first skyscraper built in Chicago after World War II and at the time had the highest roof in Chicago. Alfonzo Lanlli designed a relief carving of the Prudential Insurance Company logo, the Rock of Gibraltar, next to the main entrance. Model created by Geoffrey Berlin.
