Bay Street Presbyterian Church (PCA) , one of the city's most recognizable buildings, is located at 204 Short Bay Street in Hattiesburg, MS. The French Gothic Revival styled structure was erected in 1906 under the supervision of architect R. H. Hunt of Chattanooga after church members from Main St. Presbyterian saw a need for a second church across the creek from the regularly flooding Gordon's Creek which bisects the City of Hattiesburg. This church is listed on the National Historic Register as a contributing feature of the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood.
