"Tetrahedral trusses" comprise this geodesic dome roof, as engineered by Temcor (www.temcor.com) • Donald L. Richter, inventor • Original tetrahedral-truss patents - 3,026,651 & 3,058,550 - August 5, 1957 • This example is based on a 7-frequency, Class-I tessellation of an icosahedron • Temcor manufactures aluminum geodesic dome roofs in many sizes and frequencies • Examples of 7-frequency Temcor domes can be seen at Dinosaur State Park (Connecticut) and the (former) Michigan Space & Science Center (now, Jackson Community College activities center) • Tetrahedral truss is also referred to as "V-Beam Panel" in Temcor specs • Richter patent 3,058,550:
