Groundbreaking took place on April 23, 1980 for this 16-story highrise in the center of downtown Evansville, Indiana. The building rises over 225 feet and has an attached parking garage. It was designed by Walk Jones, Hah & Jones in Memphis. During construction, a crane cable snapped while lifting a 25-ton concrete column, crushing a passing car. Both occupants suffered only minor injuries.
