HISTORY The Auckland Ferry building was designed by Alex Wiseman and built by Philcox and Sons at a cost of 67,944 pounds, a large sum for the day. It was completed in 1912 on land reclaimed by the Auckland Harbour Board. ARCHITECTURE The architectural style of this building is Edwardian Baroque.
