Svartlamon is an alternative district which describes itself as "a gathering of houses in a little place called Lademoen north east of the center of Trondheim, a city in Norway." Since 2001 the area is developed as an experimental arena for city ecology and in 2009 Svartlamon has been announced as a site for one of the most important european design competitions for young architects called EUROPAN.
