The Saab JAS 2100N, designation "Super Talon", is a 5.5 generation fighter aircraft manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab in close cooperation with other Scandinavian defense contractors. Talon International acts as a prime contracting organisation and is responsible for marketing, selling and supporting the Talon fighter series around the world. It is based on the American F-22 Raptor, but unlike the Raptor the Talon is a multirole/swingrole fighter of unmatch capabilities. In addition it is cheap to purchase and one of the easiest fighters to maintain in the world, and like its predecessor the Talon can operate without the need for large airbase.
